URGENT REQUEST – PLEASE RESPOND BY SATURDAY
In a last-minute negative attack, funded by $500 donations from as far away as California, Joe Atkins’ opponent has stooped to half-truths and distortions about Joe’s record.
Joe’s opponent doesn’t think we have time to respond. He is wrong. We expected sleazy tactics might be coming and have a response ready to go. Our response is 100% positive and tells the rest of the story.
But the cost of printing and mailing our response is $3,630, an amount we hope to raise by Saturday. Can you help Joe set the record straight and show his opponent that negative attacks don’t work?

While contributions up to $500 are allowed under Minnesota law, we appreciate contributions of any size – $100, $50, $25 – whatever you can afford. Remember, $50/person ($100/couple) of your donation each year is fully refundable from the State under the Political Contribution Refund Law. We will send you a receipt to immediately claim your refund.
Joe Atkins does a great job as our state representative. He’s offered up innovative ideas for fixing Minnesota’s budget, and we now have a surplus. He has passed more bipartisan laws than any other state representative, including legislation to streamline regulations and create jobs, improve public safety, safeguard retirement accounts, provide fairer funding for our schools, and help families pay for college.
Just as importantly, Joe has stepped up for individual constituents, including a 47-year-old breast cancer victim who was recently denied coverage by her insurance company for chemotherapy and radiation. Working with State Rep. Joe Hoppe (R-Chaska), they helped the woman appeal the insurance company decision and successfully get the treatment she needed to save her life.
