Milton Friedman was a great man. He wrote many books on economics, and was a champion of ordered liberty and free markets. This video is a key bit of wisdom and should be viewed by anyone who is feeling the siren song of the the “free stuff” of the left. This wisdom is needs to be restored.

This thoughtful commentary on the nature of self government is one of those rare insights that touches the core of what we are. Democracy – self-government – is voluntary, and subject to a higher law. Self government does not work unless the people support it, and sacrifice for it.
