The 2014 election is over. The voters have cast their ballots, and rendered their verdict. This is not the end of political activity. It is just the start of a new phase.

To Rep Atkins – Congratulations on an excellent and successful campaign.

Remember that there is no “us” and “them”. There is only “us”, as Americans, and as Minnesotans. Rep Atkins knows that the winner of an election has a duty to represent all of the voters. He takes his office seriously, and wants your input and oversight. To do his job well, you have to do yours.

Pray for your representatives. Help them by remaining active and engaged. It is appropriate that we continue to politely communicate our views, press Rep Atkins to be clear about his, and hold him accountable for his actions.
